I wanted to share a breakdown of a recent real funded trading session and how our partner combine trend structure with order flow execution under live conditions.
The session was traded on a MyFundedFutures account, so this wasn’t a demo or hindsight breakdown. The psychological pressure was real, and every decision had actual consequences – which is exactly the environment where a strategy either holds up or falls apart.
How the approach works in real time
The core idea is simple, but not easy:
- Elswee Heritage Flow is responsible for defining the bigger picture
→ trend bias
→ structural context
→ how price is behaving on the 1-minute chart
It doesn’t try to predict tops or bottoms. Its role is to keep me aligned with what the market is actually doing – not what I want it to do.
- FOBE Order Flow Trading handles execution
→ footprint behavior
→ volume acceptance or rejection
→ reactions at key resistance and structural levels
This separation is intentional. One layer provides context, the other provides timing.
Why this matters in funded trading
In a funded environment, the biggest enemy isn’t the setup – it’s decision-making under pressure.
When trend bias is unclear, every footprint signal feels tempting.
When structure isn’t defined, it’s easy to overtrade or force entries.
Elswee Heritage Flow helps remove that noise by narrowing the field:
If structure and trend don’t agree, execution signals lose priority
If price isn’t behaving cleanly within the framework, I simply stand aside
That discipline becomes critical when drawdown limits and daily loss rules are involved.
A note on the methodology
Elswee Heritage Flow is essentially a modern, structured interpretation of classic technical analysis, adapted for fast markets on the 1-minute chart.
The focus is not:
The focus is:
Everything you see in the session reflects how I trade live – no replay, no curve-fitting, no perfect hindsight explanations.
Hopefully this gives some useful insight into how trend structure and order flow can complement each other in a real funded environment. Happy to discuss further if anyone here trades a similar approach or is experimenting with separating context from execution.
